I Am a Self Appointed Boyne Mom
For years I would escape to The Spa at The Inn at Bay Harbor during my rowdy family vacation in Northern Michigan. Last year I visited the Solace Spa during my vacation at Boyne Mountain. And this year, I was able to experience the new spa at Boyne Highlands Resort.
The new spa facility at Boyne Highlands offers massages, body treatments, facials and seasonal treatments. With only four treatment rooms, the beginning-to-end experience is intimate, personal, quiet, and relaxing.
My Bamboo Massage
I was able experience their signature treatment, the Bamboo Massage. My massage therapist used heated bamboo as an extension of her hands to stimulate muscle tissue more deeply. Let me reiterate that the bamboo was heated. The combination of hot oil and heated bamboo resulted in one of the most amazing massages I have ever experienced.
You will find other unique services at The Spa including the Rejuvenating Facial that features green tea and ginger to calm and rejuvenate your skin. The Mandarin Body Ritual offers relief to stressed skin and tired muscles. After a fresh scented body exfoliation, you are wrapped in warmth with the sweet aroma of Mandarin. The dual action balm rejuvenates and moisturizes your skin as you receive a scalp massage.
The Relaxation Lounge

r my treatment, I moved to The Spa’s relaxation lounge for some more rest and relaxation. The soothing chocolate colors and candle light created a very serene atmosphere. After I left the spa, I join my family for one more dip in the indoor/outdoor pool before we headed on to the next part of our summer vacation. It was truly a joy to experience the newest addition to the Boyne Spas’ family!
