Stillness

Close your eyes and imagine your favorite place on Earth. That place you hold close to your heart. That place that FILLS YOU UP.

Now feel what it feels like to be in that space. Hear the sounds and smell the smells.

Allow yourself to be STILL in the moment of your remembering.

When I do this exercise, I’m in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I’m on the beach, sitting on the sand. I’m looking at a fresh water lake and there’s a campfire burning and glowing against the water’s edge.

The wind is calm yet there is a cool breeze washing over my body.

I feel at home.

I feel stillness.
