Let Go of Stress

Anyways, I outed myself this week on social media, that sometimes living a holistic healthy lifestyle can stress me out. Have you ever felt that way? I know this sounds like an oxymoron, but living a holistic healthy lifestyle doesn’t always come easy for me (e.g. cooking clean healthy food and moving my body every day). It’s about making choices every single day. And trust me, I’m far from perfect.

Making holistic healthy living choices PLUS my responsibilities as a mom, PLUS keeping up with everyday household chores, PLUS birthing my great work into the world… well, sometimes it just feels like too much pressure.

Which means one thing.

I have to slow down and amp up my self care

Which is exactly what I did this week. And to help you reduce stress and find more moments to relax, I invite you to watch this video (which is the replay of my earlier Facebook life broadcast) where I share 5 relaxation practices that have really helped me this week.

To recap my video, the 5 relaxation practices I’ve been doing this week are yoga, meditation, hot showers, walking away from my computer at least once every hour, and spending time outside – in nature.
