A Daily RoutineIt’s very clear that I need to a healthy daily routine, for my personal life and my professional life, for me to successfully move closer to my life vision. I typically resist rigid structure, but I know a daily routine is going to be vital to my happiness. We all know kids need routine (I’m still working on this for my own kids).  Now it’s time I also get myself onto a schedule.

Here is my daily routine.

It’s not my ideal daily routine yet (e.g. it’s missing some important things like more exercise, time with my husband). It needs more playful moments and more whimsical words…but it’s a start.

1. Be in the moment with my children.

2. Get a cup of coffee.

3. Complete my mommy responsibilities (make breakfast, pack lunches, etc)

4. Drive kids to school.

5. Meditate, connect with my inner wisdom, and journal.

6. Fifteen minutes of exercising or walk 1,000 steps.

7. Usually grab more coffee.

8. Review my personal and professional daily tasks (which are linked to my weekly tasks, monthly tasks, quarterly tasks, annual tasks, and overall life vision).

9. Take action on my daily tasks.

10. Pick up kids.

11. Everyone gets time to relax. I unplug.

12. Homework, home chores, being present with my kids.

13. Prepare dinner.

14. Downtown with my boys.

15. Bedtime rituals.

16. Finish up daily tasks.

17. Create a new list of daily tasks for tomorrow.

18. Sleep!

My next steps are to look for a daily routine app that helps me track my daily routines.

Do you have a daily routine that keeps you focused on your goals and dreams? Please share!
